Take flight in Azazel's Sword and fight for humanity against Judgement Day. The heavenly host have arrived.

nephilim BREAK

Nephilim BREAK is a bullet-hell shoot-em-up originally made for SHMUP Love Month Jam. It's a demo with two stages, and more on the way.

  • Two stages each with two multi-phase bosses - about a 10 minute playtime.
  • Compete for high scores on local leaderboards versus yourself and your friends.
  • Four difficulty levels allow even bullet-hell novices to fight for humanity.
  • Customize the controls to gain full, uhh, control.

Web Version

The Web version has some terrific bugs: sound effects slowly fade out until they're nearly silent. Gamepad support is iffy, with buttons seemingly assigned at random with some controllers. Other than that, it's decently playable except maybe on Impossible difficulty where the slowdown gets more noticeable. Download the game to play on your own machine for the best experience.

Edit: [Couldn't] see the enemy bullets I think. I [kept] dying, but never see them shooting. Other than that, neat lil' game. I like the odd eyeball shapes of the angelic enemies.

[I downloaded it and everything worked great. The bullets are just...it's kinda insane. Yipes! (in a good way) holy moly.]

Thats so weird. If you download the game, can you still not see the bullets? Have you tried updating the drivers for your graphics card? Sorry, I don't have a clue besides "update your drivers"

It works. "It was me. I was the problem." -T.S. (Sort of)
