Treefort Towers Post-Jam Update


After Godot Wild Jam #73, I received a lot of valuable feedback from fellow jammers. Here's an update to address some of the issues that came up during the jam, and some balance tweaks suggested by play-testers:

  • Added Stage Select. Each stage is unlocked once you complete it, allowing players to pick up where they left last time.
  • Added Speed-Up Toggle. Everything goes faster when toggled, so there's less waiting around.
  • Added Waves Remaining display. Shows how many waves left until the end of the stage.
  • Glitches are now vulnerable to earth damage.
  • Enemy counts in most waves reduced by approximately 15%.
  • Enemies health reduced approximately 20%.
  • Enemy speed increased approximately 20%.
  • Inferno Tower damage and number of bounces slightly reduced.
  • Ice Spire damage and fire rate slightly reduced.
  • Sniper Tower damage greatly increased.
  • Fire rates for most towers slightly reduced.
  • Fixed Quake Tower aura radius incorrectly applying to all quake towers.
  • Fixed Frost Bomber projectile radius not increasing when upgraded.

Hopefully these changes will make the game a more enjoyable experience. Thanks to everyone who participated in Godot Wild Jam #73 for trying out Treefort Towers and for being wonderful developers and people!
